Following two radical reinterpretations earlier this summer from Truncate and Yaleesa Hall, which earned plays from Roman Flügel, Laurent Garnier and Ben Sims to Dusky and Huxley, Kamera’s ‘Ventoux’ EP is further expanded with two remixes that tastefully expand the producer’s original vision of uncompromising body music. Festival and club favourite George FitzGerald is on hand first, delivering a blistering remix of Consignia, one of his personal favourite club records in recent times. Here, FitzGerald continues his masterful streak of production, knowingly blending the somewhat menacing machine throb of the original with a suspenseful bassline, eventually culminating in a heavenly, ethereal breakdown, one that’s certain...
