Daniel Avery

Since releasing his debut album Drone Logic on Phantasy in 2013, Daniel Avery has progressed since to become one of the most widely-recognised and revered talents in British electronic music. Avery’s relationship with the label continues in 2022 with ‘Ultra Truth’, featuring collaborations not only the production touch of Ghost Culture and Manni Dee, but also he vocals of HAAi, Jonnine Standish (HTRK), AK Paul and the voices of Marie Davidson, Kelly Lee Owens, Sherelle and James Massiah.

Following his long-awaited second LP, ‘Song For Alpha’ in 2018, Avery also collaborated closely with fellow electronic auteur Alessandro Cortini on their collaborative LP ‘Illusion of Time’, a spectral, sometimes ambient journey produced over a number of years touring. In the summer of 2020, Avery unexpectedly released his third full solo LP ‘Love & Light’ which was soon followed by ‘Lone Swordsman’, a track made in tribute following the death of his friend and supporter Andrew Weatherall. Proceeds from the track were donated to Amnesty UK.

A hugely popular DJ, Avery has headlined and curated lineups for venues and events including Fabric, Les Nuits Sonores and The Warehouse Project. In 2022, Avery debuted his first ever live show, which toured festivals including Primavera Sound, Melt, Roskilde and in his home city of London, Field Day.
