I got into doing that sort of music when I was very young, when I was about nine or ten years old. I used to mess around with tape machines and buy magazines like Future Music and they came with a couple of CDs with samples and stuff. I've had [tinnitus] as long as I can remember. I used to listen to music on headphones even when I was around eight years old, and had slight ringing in my ears back then.
