Following his stellar, thirteen-week 2017 residency at London’s XOYO and a series of sell-out dates across the UK, Erol Alkan returns to tour the USA with ‘To The Rhythm’. Each date across San FranciscoLos AngelesNew York and Philadelphia sees Alkan take complete control of the soundsystem at four of the nation’s finest clubs for the full duration of a summer’s night of music.

A celebrated DJ, producer, remixer and radio host, Alkan's career has led down a more winding road than most. From a history of remixing artists such as Tame ImpalaDaft PunkConnan Mockasin, Todd Terje and most recently Depeche Mode, to a ten-year stint as resident and booker for legendary London club Trash, each of Alkan's musical positions has benefited his spiritual home in the DJ booth. Here, and throughout ‘To The Rhythm’, he expresses an evolving, unpredictable vision of club culture, finding unexpected links between his original alternative rock roots through to shimmering disco, propulsive house, cutting-edge techno and guttural acid. During it's London residency, 'To The Rhythm' played host to a diverse range of guests including Gerd JansonFactory FloorJustice, Daniel Avery, Ellen Alien, I-FPeggy GouFrançois K, Peaches and Ride, who played live.

Alkan comments "Looking forward to coming back to the US. Being able to Dj from open to close means I can play right across my musical universe and make the most of this trip, my 6 hour set for Prototype in LA last year was a personal favourite of 2017. There's no way I'm coming all that way to only just play 90 minutes for you. See you there."
